Beyond the usual optimizations, uninstalling apps that boot alone and the menu settings, there is a way that the Blackberry OS (Curve, Bold, etc) lasts the battery several days.
I have gone from that to a Blackberry Curve 9360 with 125 apps installed the battery lasts 4 hours to lasts 3 days "followed".
We just have to start it in "safe mode", for this we will restart and press for a minimum of 10 seconds the backspace key after the red LED goes off, and before the load screen takes the progress bar in half.
Now only pre-installed apps with the system will start. If we want that one installed by us remains lit by sending us notifications, such as a messenger, we will only have to start it manually.
(unlike Android's safe mode where it is not possible to start apps from the user folder)
With the terminal in standby mode, the battery will last several days, although if we spend a lot of time with the screen on, the time is significantly reduced.
    I hope it serves you.
