Follow the instructions there and you will have BBM 5.0 on you 5.0 Crackberry in the next 15 to 20 mins.
Those of you that have 4.5. You can follow that link as well or use App World. This is the fix to get BBM for those that can't use App World in the leaked 5.0 OS.
This is not the 5.0 OS. It is the offical BBM 5.0. If you look here, http://forums.crackberry.com/f95/lea...-8330-a-324677
that is the Beta 5.0 that was leake last week. App World does not work with it so I found a way to get the new BBM 5.0 on the 8330 with the 5.0 OS. This is the fixed to get it.
I downloaded the new BBM 5.0 and I hate it!! Does anyone know how I can get the old one back?? I'm kind of techy challenged so I need a step by step process on how to do it
8330's with the 96 mbs of memory can run the 5.0 os. If your bb has 64 mbs I don't think it will fit... sorry
Also for the posters girlfriend curve not working with 5.0 I believe your os has to be at least 4.5.
Yes. If you follow the the official links on the front page, you'll find the blackberry.com/messanger link will install BBM 1 if you do not have OS 4.5.

I find it hard to believe someone can find CrackBerry using Google,
yet couldn't find their "heat seeking moisture missile" in a speedo once they get here.

Thanks, would you be able to tell me whats the newest OS for the 8320?
i found this link posted oct 5 09 >>Latest OS: 8320 4.5.0.255/4.5.0.162 (EastAsia + English) - BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community of course, it is from another carrier than t-mo so you'd have to install it to your pc, then browse c:/program files/common files/research in motion/apploader then delete the "vendor.xml" file in that folder... plug your berry into your pc close the DM and supposing that you don't want to hybridize this OS, return to the above folder and double click the apploader file. apploader will launch and walk you through the installation...
if you're a bit more advanced and know how to use shrink-a-os, you can track down the java folder and eliminate items, ie. language support, that you don't want or need, then install... i'm not an 8320 expert but i'm pretty sure .255 is the latest os for your device... hope this helps
