    I noticed the option in the menu isn't there anymore like it used to be in 4.6.....

    Bluetooth sending and receiving is exactly the same in any 5.0 OS as it was in 4.6, as are the menus and options...

    That doesn't work, i've done it multiple times. The option just isn't there

    Maybe I should wipe, then re-install....

    i found the issue. Something was unchecked in the bluetooth menu

    I don't know why RIM do that... you weren't the first and you won't be the last to get caught out by that old chestnut.

    nope, it wasn't that for some reason everything, under and including "Serial Port Profile" was unchecked. When I re-checked em, the option came back!
