How do you block incoming calls on the Blackberry 8830? I have a stalker, and it's getting really annoying to receive private number phone calls OVER< AND OVER AND OVER again.
Since you have Verizon, call them, or you can even do it online. Within the past six months+ they finally allow you to block calls and or texts from certain numbers (without involving the police). I am unclear if it costs money, if it does its probably $5 to do so.

No cost to block up to 5 numbers on verizon. Verizon also has the option to block all messages that are sent from short codes (premium text) or messages sent from the internet free of charge.
Icall manager light is the app I use to manage my calls...It gives you the ability to block all unavailable, blocked and unknown calls, and 800 numbers along with a black and white list...Most apps that have that capability will just send the call straight to your voicemail...Icall manager light provides the option to simply disconnect the call and not allow it to reach your voicemail.
With my old LG phone I was able to log-in to the security option and save my settings with a password. My sis-in-law has a blackberry but has been grounded. I tried the firewall thing but it is not protected with a password so I had to take her phone away all together. Anyone know how to do the firewall thing but make the settings password protected? Or, is there another way to do this without going through my carrier?
I use Cerberus Call Filter which works alright. It lets me enter numbers manually or from address book and even recent calls. The phone still rings for a half a second for me, but they never get through. I use mine as a whitelister more than a blacklister. I dig it... for 5 bucks it was worth a shot.
