For some reason I don't have blackberry messenger on my 8320 Curve. How can I download it on my device?

You might have to reinstall the OS. goto your subscriber's site and then look to redownload the OS. When you install it from your computer, it should ask you which programs you want to install. Also, make sure you resend your service books. On a Rogers phone, you just goto www rogers.com/bis. not sure about att though. Call them?

To the OP, do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan.

You need to have DM installed, next you need your OS installed on your phone and computer, then go into add applications, re-check bbm and install. You can find the OS versions in the stickys of the 83xx series thread.

Reinstall OS or upgrade, use Desktop Manager and select the apps that you want to enable or disable.

You dont have to upgrade, just make sure the OS that is on the phone is installed on your computer, dont make the OP think its harder than what it is.

Data plan is a must. I had the same issue when I first got my BB. Once I got the data plan everything worked the way it was supposed to.
