My emails from hotmail are forwarded to my bberry via BIS. I also have work emails pushed via BES.
So, I have two email icons on my home screen. But, the hotmail emails are also sent and appear in my work mail (via BES) inbox. So my work inbox gets cluttered with junk. Does anyone know how to change the setting so the hotmail emails do not appear in my work mail inbox?
Also, if so, does anyone know how to change the setting so a new hotmail will not make the LED flash red, but a new work email will?
No way to change this. The problem is that BES based email only uses the Messages icon (which is stupid in my opinion). BIS email accounts always create a new account icon. However, the Messages box is still a "display all" type of box, where all the email from all email addresses setup on the device will display. I wish BES would create a box all by itself like BIS accounts do. I hate that aspect of the BB.
