you cannot disable the appswitcher. BBM is one of the core applications that will always remain open in the appswitcher unless its deleted from the phone. you can hide the icon by moving it to whatever or however many folders deep you want to or simply select to hide it off the main screen. hover over the icon, hit the menu button and select either "hide" or "move to folder"
