I followed this tutorial step-by-step, my only issue now is when I go to load it on my BlackBerry, the dock won't hide =( I am unsure if I need to do something with the "Navigation" of it all?
Not sure where you went wrong, but obviously it was a part of the coding. Check to see if you renamed the Layer_1 label to Buttons. Also, make sure you copy the lines of code from the Code.txt file that was in the zip file that ashabee posted in the first post in this thread.

This is SUCH a great tutorial! Thank you very much! My only issue is that my navigation goes from side to side (left to right) for the first three icons and then skips around. Is there a way to smooth the navigation within the .svg since I can't make changes in TB. Again, thanks!

I am still getting all of the same icons on the home screen. I changed the slot to corresponding numbers as described in the information. Can I change anything else.

A hidden dock lets you hide away the icons along the bottom of your home screen so you can see more of your wallpaper until you need them.

@Ashabees: One question, why do you say to leave Navigational History set to No Memory? I have it set on my 9700 theme to Full Memory and so far I've had no problems but I'm wondering if I'm going to get caught out at some point.

I know this post is kind of old but I just wanted to say THANKS SOOOOO MUCH!!! I have been asking other theme developers for help on what I was doing wrong with other tutorials and they blew me off so bad. I have been trying for weeks until I tried this and it took like 5 minutes!! Thanks so much again. I only had one problem and I'm sure it was an error that I made in composer.... When scroll over the icons, they don't follow any particular order, they just jump all over the place. I did select "app device order" and checked the slots as well. I also did the no memory thing in Theme Builder. Any ideas how I can fix this?

Ignore my last post...I screwed up in composer and had the buttons in the wrong order. Excellent tutorial!

When I tried loading the .svg into the Theme Builder, it gave me an "Error: Duration Not Defined." Why? Is it because this doesn't work with Blackberry Studio 5.0, or only Plazmic? Or is it because I opted not to have am actual image under my buttons for the dock, I just left them free standing.

That usually happens because you forgot to rename "Layer_1" (or similar) to "Buttons" like instructed. I've done that numerous times and would get frustrated only to realize it was my own fault that it wasn't working.

When I followed all the steps and everything works fine. The only problem I have is theres a white border around my dock. The image im using for the dock doesn't have a white border in gimp but when I see a thumbnail of it, it shows the border.

    Any ideas?

    P.S. Thanks for the tutorial!
