What the f*** vatican city is not on there and its def a country!
yea i actually noticed that too when the flags came out.
theres also a bunch of other countries, mostly small independant outerlying islands in the pacific, that arent included too. if you go on the internet, or wikipedia, just look up the country's code top-level domain and use that as a flag symbol. if it doesnt pop up, there isnt one for that country yet.
I had to join the debate on the "Scotland" being it's own country issue. I'm English, and I feel that England IS a country. Scotland has gone through devolution, and should really be recognised as an individual country now (it has Primary legislation rights - which should really echo the "sovereignty" question).
As far as that "sovereignty" question is concerned... NO EUROPEAN COUNTRY CAN CLAIM INDIVIDUAL SOVEREIGNTY ANYMORE!! We are all pretty much federal states of Europe (as European law overrides all others). So you could easily argue this point home...
So where is the European Union flag?
But, I have to agree with my Scottish neighbours (now that's got to be a shocker coming from and Englishman!!!)... we are individual countries - ones that are forced to play as individual nations in sporting events such as Rugby Union, Association Football etc...
It's kinda like lumping all of North America together and saying that Canada and the USA are like one giant country (You all speak the same as far as we are concerned... except those French speaking tarts). hahaha
I hope you don't take my tongue in cheek words to heart
I am Canadian. None of your words offended me. Let's be merry over a pint!
Scotland is as much a country as any of the colonies that seem to have their own flags,. The Saltire and the Lion Rampant should be on the list... come on RIM, how hard is it to do a white x on a blue background... go the extra mile for once. Anyone who says Scotland isn't a country will have me and my whole clan to answer to!
While I realize it isn't a country, is there by any chance an Esperanto flag emoticon? I'd like to have it in there when I chat with my fellow Esperantists.
are there any other hidden goodies except country flags? My friend has a soccer ball in his BBM name, I can copy and paste it into my name but cant figure out what the code is.
