I stumbled on this the other day while adding someone by mistake ....not sure if ever discussed before .....any ways under invite contact > then add name of SMS or phone number ...select a non blackberry user. Now all texts from these people will show up in BBM and u can send from here aswell , also making a separate category for these contacts makes life easy.

I discovered a couple weeks ago on my own, just experimenting. I added my brother (he and his wife are iDrones) and then our SMS convo jumped into the BBM list.
This short-lived however, as the convo has since disappeared from the list. I think it might have only lasted until a battery pull.
Also, this permanently leaves that contact sitting as Pending at the bottom, does it not?
@dbone: do you know where the threads on this are? In Native Apps, or elsewhere? (Yeah, I could just search too, but�)
