Hey Guys: I'm new to the site, and hoping someone can help me. I'm using the Bold and having a problem with Blackberry Messenger. Despite several times changing my display name in the "Edit My Info" category, it does not update for any of my contacts.
Example: My name was once displayed as "Matt-Philadelphia"
I've changed it several times, but on all my contacts still see me as the above.
Is there any way to reset without having to re-request everyone?
If someone actually renames you on their list, then no matter how much you update your name it won't change for them. That person has to highlight you on their list and select "set original name." But I've noticed that it can only be done on a Bold.
