    I've read about 50 posts and replies to no avail!!! I have the bb bold 9000 v4.6.0.1.

    I downloaded the new 5.0 and it rebooted and my bbm was gone. I tried deleting it and redownloading it and its still missing!! I'm freaking out.

    I have a mac so plugging it into the computer didnt seem to help..

    Is there ANY way to get back my old bbm with all my contacts?? i'm freaking out!!

    JK!! HOW DO YOU RESTORE CONTACTS?? i have the 5.0 but all my contacts are gone (

    Did you do a backup before updating? If so, just go through DM and go to restore. That will get your contacts back.

    Did it hide just the icon?
    If you have Dial From Home Screen disabled, try pressing the "N" key from the home screen to see if it will open the application.
    Is it listed under Options > Advanced Options > Applications?
