I have a blackberry 8900 and the new version of BBM. when I updated it about 2 months ago I immediately noticed that in my chats with people, the typing screen would go blank and I could not see what I was writing. I have discovered that if someone else bbms me when the screen is up, then it unfreezes but it's still really frustrating!
does anyone know how to fix this?!!

I suggest that you go back to the old BBM or upgrade your Operating System
