I used to be a serious text machine doing atleast 5k in SMS a month.


Now I've converted almost everyone close to me over to BB's, and my Txt'ing is now in the 1500 2k a month range seriously.

I even prefer PIN Messaging over SMS, due to not having a character limit and its easier to comminucate with when talking in groups.



Anyone else experience the same?

My texting has remained the same; not everyone has a BB therefore I wouldnt BBM'g them.

I rarely text. I stopped texting once I got a BB, and even then , I hardly texted at all before. I used to text a lot during the couple of months I worked at a cafe... Once I got a real job, I had a computer in front of me to chat. If I send 3 texts a month, that's a lot.

Well... my texting has increased, but it because of the iPhone's threaded messaging. I wouldn't be surprised if I see over 5k this month. I've actually never hit that much either.

I still BBM as well on my work berry. Neither effect the other.

My texting has dropped significantly, but that's mostly because my wife also has a Curve and she was my main text recipient.

Nope. But that is only because I know 4 people who have BB's. For them texting is down to null. But everyone else gets my SMS messages.

I text more than use BBM, I send about 3000+ msgs a month, since I've gotten my BB.

Yes and No, I am still a texter in most ways. But now instead of text messages with people I know coming out of my allotted monthly texts I use BBM to talk to them~>at least those that have a BB
