Giving this one a miss. Official T Mobile verison seems to be giving grief.
Roll on the next ALKi3 promised leak.
Really? That's too bad. I uploaded last night with no issues, conducted my series of BPs and I'm enjoying it. So, why is this one a miss? Just curious.

Just from reading the T Mobile thread in the 9900 Forum, lot of negative feedback, could well be the usual user error.
If you are OK with it will give it a go as Phill_UK also seems to have it installed and he is not one to suffer a bad OS and not report on it.
this has been my fave OS on my att 9810. can't think of one weird quirk to complain about. everything i use just works. normal usage today with 4G and wifi on all day - i swear i am using less battery than normal and its 5:30 pm here -- been off the charger
since 9 am and i am still at 80%. thumbs up from me. don't forget to delete the TWO vendor files!!!!
Thanks OP for the links. Installed it yesterday and using it today. Installation was a very smooth and so far it looks like it's pretty stable. Hoping for just a little bit better battery life.

Likewise, just installed it 3-4 hrs ago, installation went smooth, no error 507 this time.
Hoping for a better battery life in the "3G/2G" OR "3G only" modes.
Else, need to revert back to "2G only" when out of home & 3G only for intermittent browsing (provided strong signal available) & "2G + wi-fi" @ home for better battery life. :-(
Not liking it, when compared to Wife's iPhone 4s battery life (3G / 2G) - and how it go through a working day.. w/o having to recharge in between.

I have always found the 2G/3G setting to be heavy on battery.
Seems that searching for the best signal between 3G and 2G works the phone harder than having a realtively weak 3G signal.
Q: Is there a significant difference overall--enough to warrant the pain of upgrading--between 284 and 190? (I've skipped the intervening ones.)
From what I think I'm hearing here, the battery life is improved, you can make wi-fi calls (on AT&T??), and the mobile hotspot works without changing from the legacy unlimited plan on AT&T.
Can someone using 284 on AT&T with a legacy unlimited data plan confirm all of these? If true, then I would say that it is worth the upgrade.
