I agree. It is very slow. Sometimes it hangs and will not allow me to go back to my home screen until it finishes downloading data for the message I'm viewing. I wish I could get 1.5 back.

my 1.6 shows a contacts feature, though I have it disabled.

is it just me to be unable to see the pics posted in m wall unless i comment first (using a computer obviously)?
i can only see the pics on my wall if i comment them on pc so after that i get a notification but not before i comment them

Tried to load on my 8800 through DM and get Facebook can not be loaded because some required files are not available

I updated to Facebook 1.6 and received a connection error message when trying to log on (BES issue most likely). I uninstalled Facebook using DM and then installed this file to perform a roll-back.

Everything worked perfectly. I'm back to Version 1.5 and all seems right with the world again!

You want to extract the zip file and use Blackberry Desktop Manager to install the app on your blackberry. You just need to install the facebook.alx file. I installed and works for me! Thanks!

FB is in the process of getting everyones pages switched to their new format. Anytime they are in the process of making changes to the site, the apps have difficulty communicating. Just wait it out a couple of days til the website stops changing around, most likely nothing on your end.
