I need some help. I started using my bold 9000 again, but it had some problems so I wiped it and reloaded the os. Everything works great. It is hooked up to BIS and bbm is working, calls and texts as well.

I setup up my gmail acct. and it said it was successful and that an icon had been added for that acct, but there is no icon on the homescreen. When I try to compose an email from the message app it says there is no email configured and takes me back to the email setup wizard where I can see my gmail acct already setup.

I have done some searching and can't find a similar problem but my google skills maybe a little dull. Anybody have any ideas that might help?

    Thanks

Who is your carrier? Try resending the service books. You may need to call them to do this.

I ended up calling att tech support to resolve this issue. Something glitched in RIM's servers when I downgraded phones I guess. Thanks for the response Saudadeii.
