With BB Torch trying to attach files to emails in Yahoo results in "unknown error" message. Have tried files from SD card and on Device memory, tried different files sizes, tried picture files taken on the phone's camera.
This was never a problem when I had a Nokia E71.
Welcome to BB..i think you should update to OS7.1
attaching files to Email is pretty easy with BBs
Thanks for your response -- the only flaw in your suggestion is that the most recent update to my phone's OS is 6 something.
I'm not likely to replace a phone which (while it is a 3 yr old design) is actually brand new. Given that it replaces a 5 years old Nokia which supported email attachments, I'm not that impressed by Blackberry's performance in comparison. When, in due course, I replace the present model, it probably won't be with a Blackberry.
