I hope I don't regret doing this, but I pulled together everyone's suggestions....using the .114 OS and pulling the Java files out of the 9500 .113 official release....and throwing in the CDMA/radio file from .109 and uploaded it into one nice file for those who want to try this hybrid, but don't have the time or patience to put it together...Props to everyone involved for coming up with the ideas for this, I have tried this already and I can assure you, I will not upgrade from this until there is an official release..and it better be a darn good one at that! The file is WinZipped unfortunately, but as soon as you unzip, you should be able to run DM and install from there. As always, if you're not sure what you are doing, please read the appropriate threads involving installing OS's and how to fix a bricked phone in case you mess up. I will try my best to answer any questions that are out there, Good luck! (Link is below)

    Cool. Thanks!

Downloading it now but I have a quick question. Why is this file so small? It seems to be about half the size of the other releases.

I was wondering the same thing....when I zipped it it was only 98 Mbs and the original file is well over 150 Mb. I'll have to look into that

Does this hybrid address the Forwarding MMS issue? Last I read, it was still a problem with these builds and requires the .86 mms cod.....??

Honestly, it wasn't a problem for me, I believe the .cod is from .113, When you are able to test, let me know if it's still an issue.

ok, I will do some checking in the .113 threads before downloading/testing....it's only forwarding mms thats been an issue for me or sending images I pulled onto my phone from my pc....never had any issues with pics taken by my phone & sending

I've had issues with the WAP/MMS files too, I cant get ringtones that I send to myself or they take forever, seems like it happens every other build.

I'd like to try this 'mutant hybrid' as well, but the zip file isn't working for me either. I get a ton of errors when unzipping and then the java folder is empty.

This file listed in the first post MUST BE UNZIPPED USING WINZIP or atleast that is what worked for me and im a WinRAR user.

Download the evaluation copy of Winzip and extract the files! Then uninstall Winzip if you no longer have a use for it!

    RR

    THIS WORKS.....confirmed able to unzip
