After I read an email on my Bold 9900 I used to hit the menu and D and boom delete she goes...now on 7.0 or 7.1 OS when I hit the menu and D the "display type" shows up and I have to hit D twice to go to the delete...

anyone else see this or have a quicker solution?

Weird... I'm on 7.1 and I only have to hit menu then D and it deletes. It seems that the order of your menu options is different. My display style is below delete. So I have to hit D twice to get to display style.

I don't know how the order of your menu could have changed.

I don't think it would be theme related... but... are you running a default theme?

It could be a .205 issue which then coulde be specific to the 9900 and not the 9930. Wait and see if more users post here.

Oh ok..I see....when I have the email actually open and hit the menu and D it goes straight to delete like its supposed to...however, if you just have your inbox open and highlight an email and hit D it goes to display first then delete second.....hmmm

From within the email, Menu > D = Delete
From your inbox, Menu > D = Display Style

Just press the Del key from within the email, or from your inbox... much easier

I find easiest to just touch and hold the email I want to delete and when the menu or whatever you call that little box is called that pops up touch the red X. You can do the same from within an opened email also.
