it wont effect anything, but if u want to reload that, you need DM. as far as i know. i dont know much more about Strom. Coz I'm using BOLD, used Curves & pearls ( So I know more about them )

yes, you r assumptions are right. Deleting BBIM will give you some extra app mem and will not affect your phone at all. And yes, you can restore it thru DM.

I removed BBM when I installed .83 because I, like the OP, never used it.

However, I'm wondering what would happen if someone DID send me a BBM and I don't have the app installed. Will I receive the message but just can't reply? Will the phone just ignore the incoming BBM?
