This is a new one for me. My mom has a Bold 9000 runnin OS 4.6.304 on ATT. three days ago all of her contacts went missing. I saw that she had them on the Sims card so I tried coping them to contacts. That didn't work. I tried adding them manually. that didn't work. the BBM contacts show up in BBM but not in the contacts list. any thoughts or suggestions. thanks for the help.
I still don't understand what happened. I upgraded her to the leaked OS 5.0. I hated to do this because I wanted her to be on the "official" release. By upgrading all of her contacts were there including the test contacts we put in that didn't show up on the old OS. Strange but this was the only way I found to fix the issue.
dude, i have no idea what your problem even is because i cant follow your explanation. lost what contacts, her BBM ones or her actual phone book? BBM contacts, once added properly on BBM, must be linked manually to a blackberry contact (phonebook) in order to show up in there.
This is still a problem by July 2013!!!
Is Blackberry so pathetic they cannot solve this over a period of 3 years?
I just lost ALL my contacts when trying to text a friend.
