    a friend of mine uses the 8310? (curve from ATT) when he sends me texts or bbm his font color is in red....how/can i change my font color?? Is it even possible I went through all the menus and options within those menus but couldnt find anything

    I don't know how your friend did that but I don't think its possible. I have been using a bb for years but have never came across font color being any color but black. Sorry

    It is in messenger everything he sends me is red and I am blue. I just used bbm to ask.

    Embarrassed I am. Since it was a pin message and I viewed it in my message folder it was red.
    I then decided to assume he was able to change his font color to red.
    When I bbm'd him when I saw it was red for him

    Pin messages are in red font if they are set as level 1 messages. If you go go messages>menu>options>general options>make PIN messages level 1: NO if it is changed to this it will change them to black as well...
