Hi guys..I saw some people using messenger but the font color is is different.some are red..purple etc.
Is there a settings for that? How can I change that..I'm using storm.tia.

It could be to do with the theme they are using.

As far as I know, there are no option to change colours in BlackBerry Messenger...

I have never found any setting for it in BB messenger. Are you sure that it wasn't another messaging app like AIM or MSN?

Make sure you were looking at a BB Messenger, could have been anothe program.

Actually Jetkoni is right. When I use BBM with my hubby, each of our names shows up in a different color. I assume it's chosen by the App as I can find no setting for it.

There is not an option to change font colors in BBM. Yes you will have a color and the other person will have a different one but that is it. And easy on the bumping. In order to bump you must wait three days after your original post to do so. This is outlined in the Posting Rules link in my signature.

Hey there...
its a good chance that you seen a broadcast message from one of your contacts.
You can send a broadcast message if you have more than one conversations going on in BBM.
The broadcast message, "I'm off to bed." will appear in purple to all those you are in current conversation with.
Also if you ping a contact it appears red, PING!!!

Is there possibly an app out there that will let you chose the colour of text in BBM5?

I'm asking because I found a theme I really like but with the colour scheme, it appears as light gray on a white background...not impossible to read but a bit of strain on the eyes with longer messages.

I believe the color is set by the app, when I'm BBM friends it shows as colors but I know they didn't change it

Hi there - when u send a broadcast message to more than one contact it appears purple - if u ping it is red hope this helps
