I haven't played a youtube video for some time but when I tried this morning on my 9810 all I get is buffering and black screen that eventually closes by itself. Any one else having similar issues on OS7?

I've had this problem on my z30 for the last two weeks. I thought it might be due to the loss of flash on the browser but perhaps it's something else.

They play fine over wifi which leads me to believe its a carrier issue rather than a BlackBerry one.

seeing the same behavior here, on wifi and 3g, so doesn't appear to be a carrier issue

Just thought I'd update this thread to say that I can no longer watch YT videos on my Torch 9810. Instead of the normal "Not available on mobile." notice I sometimes see, there is a "video" announcing:

"YouTube will be upgrading to a newer version, which is not supported by this device or app. To learn more and see where you can watch YouTube, visit youtube.com/devicesupport."

I plan on upgrading to a Classic soon (or even the Slider later), but to see that is a bit disappointing.

Same here. It is a bit disappointing especially when the youtube help page states that Blackberry devices accessing youtube with a web browser supported by m.youtube.com will be unaffected by the update, when clearly they are.

Well, after a few days, I'm happy to report that YT on my mobile browser is back to working as it should AND as stated on the device support page on YT that Asdic noted (the last bullet point under the RSS Reader section, to be specific).

Well after 8 months or so I can report that YouTube videos are now working over 3G on my 9810. Something has changed somewhere but what I don't know.
