Hi Guys I have a 9630 I recently upgraded to Sprint 5.0624

I want to downgrade to 484

I read the instructions to Downgrade OS

I went to add remove and i couldnt find 5.0 OS

But I did find 4.7 Device Software

I wiped the Tour

And connected to DM

But i see that the newest update is there and i cant deselect the Box

Can someone tell me how to delete the OS Inside of DM

Because i still cant locate the OS in the Add/Remove Section of Winodws

Did you perform the upgrade to 5.0.0.624 over the air? If so, the OS isn't installed on your PC, so you can't delete it. In that case, the info in this video may help: How to Downgrade Your BlackBerry Device Software Over the Wireless Network | CrackBerry.com

No i did it thru DM

If you upgraded through DM, then the OS has to be installed on your PC. It's impossible to install from your PC using DM without installing the OS on your PC. Look in the Add / Remove programs area again. You should see an entry very much like "BlackBerry Device Software v5.0.0 for the BlackBerry 9630 smartphone." That's the OS you are looking for.

Only thing that's there is BB Desktop Software 5.0.1
BB Media Sync is There as well

I saw BB Device Software 4.7 but i already removed that 1

If you installed 5.0 from your PC, it has to be there. If it's not, you deleted it already. You should also see .484 if you have installed it.

Is there another place i can find it?

I used the search function in Windows and searched for blackberry device software and nothing came up

Not sure what it can be?

I just downloaded 484 and im ready to install that via DM but i see that 624 is already showing in DM

When you downloaded 5.0 to your PC, did you double-click the exe file? That's how you install it. You don't have any control over where it installs, and it can't be installed anywhere else. If you downloaded it, but didn't double-click it, you never installed it to begin with. That would explain why you can't delete it.

I downloaded it thru DM

When i connected to DM it told me there was an update available for my device

I hot ok and it did the rest from there

as far as the 484

I have it on my desktop but i havent double clicked it because i thought that might cause a conflict with the OS showing up in DM

DM is trying to install the latest OS from your carrier. You can stop that by disconnecting your PC from the internet while you upgrade top .484. You can double-click the 484 exe, disconnect your PC from the internet, and run the App Loader to install .484.

But how do i disconnect my PC from the internet?

Do i unplug it?

I'm just unsure

If you're on a wired network, unplug your network cable. If you're using wifi, turn off the radio. There is usually a hardware switch somewhere on your device that allows you to turn it off.
