    I cant download through dm cause I dont have a bes plan and I think i have to wipe using bbsak and load it like that, but i dont wanna screw up my bold. Can someone do a remote desktop with me...

    It would be foolish to attempt such a thing.

    I have used remote software, the feedback is minimal and if anything goes wrong, recovery is all but impossible.

    yeh im not giving away another 25 bucks a month to get bb messenger and other apps to work..
    As you have noted, the absense of a BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) plan does have some drawbacks. I don't think the problems you have been posting are from lack of a plan.

    Remove then re-install BlackBerry Desktop Manager. This time, de-select the options to check for upgrades. That should return manual control.

    Worse yet, who knows what BES imposed policy constraints you will encounter. Removing them could cost you your job.
    someone has done it from this site and it went very smoothly... he told me when to connect/disconnect blackberry and it went great.

    and how can it cost me my job when i am 18 years old and do not have a job?? llolololol i dont follow
