    I am airtel india user I get update of 434 mb .... I don't have wifi so I just want to ask can I use 3G data instead wifi connection.
    Is anyone here do it by using 3G Data...? pls tell me

    4g is another level dude... correctly now I use 2g so update not run but next day I will recharge my 3g data pack so initiallyi ask it.
    and 4g is not available at my place so I can't use it.

    If your signal is reliable, it should be OK. I have updated my Z10 using 3G in the past

    Your provider can actually control whether or not you can update over mobile.

    You surely meant "OTA" (over the air)... sure you can!

    THIS is the correct answer. You could get an unlimited data add-on, but if your carrier does not allow OTA update downloads over mobile network, you would have wasted your money.

    Best thing to do is ask the carrier if they allow OTA OS update downloads. These policies are generally platform-agnostic, so you should get a clear answer.
