I keep receiving broadcast from my contact lists just for them to test contact. The content of the broadcast message is usually like this "Test Contact" or whatever they want to put it.

I mean how does this work? How do you know if your contact is still using BBM by sending broadcast?

For example: My friend sent me the broadcast message, but I haven't been activating my BBM service for a month. Will he/she know that I am not using BBM at the moment?
