Help :-(
Here I am, stuck with OS 7.0 bundle 2406, I connected my BB to the PC, then did a "check for updates", it told me that there is no update...
I went on the T-Mobile website (it's my provider, but the phone is not T-Mobile, it's an unlocked version from Europe), I download a version there, then load Blackberry Desktop Manager, but still no chance to upgrade.
Even on the device, when I check for updates, it tells me that there are no further updates. Can anybody help me? PLEASE... I am going to Europe in 2 days, and would really need this OS7.1 as it will allow me to do wifi-calling (T-Mobile allows this), otherwise I am scrwd... :-( Any help would be appreciated!

you will need to remove the vendor.xml files first before dm will recognize the update Hope this helps

So, now I was able to get it installed, happy :-)
BUT: for some reason I don't have the option for "wifi preferred" under network? :-(((
I do have the wifi hotspot option, but no wifi calling... I'm puzzled! what to do?

Here in Canada to be able to have wifi calling, its extra cost with the provider as far as I know to activate that feature. I know a few people that have that added to their monthly plan due to poor cell reception at their house.

I'm with T-Mobile so if you find out how to get Wi-Fi calling to work please share!

I think you've a Non T-Mobile Bold 9900 !! In that case you'd need to enable WiFi calling by going into engineering screens and of course you'd need to call T-Mobile to ask them to turn on WiFi calling for your BB Look at the following article for how to : http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...0/#post5463248

Also if the code from Zibri's blog doesn't work, then go to Find Blackberry MEP code through hidden Engineering Screen | Unlock-BlackBerry.com to get code, as the code from Zibri's blog has just worked once for me .

Make sure you don't play around with anything other than mentioned in instructions, coz by adjusting anything other than what you know, you may brick your BB . Good Luck
