thanks billybobjones, its a bug, i agree with you. having posted it on every page of this thread, got a bit tiring tho.

what i want to know is, themes and quicklaunch, do they work seemlessly?
with .415 the graphics were a bit sketchy. does it work flawlessly now with themeS?
To answer your questions: No, themes still have problems with this os version much like .415. In pop up menu it leaves ugly trail. Resolution of pic preview is still terrible. Anyone who says this os does not have any bugs is a joke!

Please everyone get off on people that are posting the bugs on this os. This is the whole purpose of this thread to list findings from this os wether it is positive or negative. We all need to hear this stuff.

I have it installed, but am still unsure about this one. I have not gotten as good battery life as I did with .296. Anyone have any experiences with the battery life on .421 compared to .296?

I came straight from .296 to .421, and I see no decline in battery life, in fact it may even be a little better. I took it off the charger this morning at 7:30am, did the OS upgrade at about 10am, and right now I'm sitting at 87%, even with all the reboots and messing with the phone after the upgrade. No complaints here!

So far so good on this OS, but is anyone having trouble receiving pictures on their BBM? Two tries and no luck... I am able to send pics, but can't receive. I would love to have some feedback or suggestions.

I jumped from 5.0.0.344 to .421, and I didn't have any trouble with the previous OS... just wondering!

alright so i havent given it a good test and im actually wiping my 9700 again to try something but it seems stable.

i found my Boot time went from like 6-7 minutes with every other OS to 2minutes with this one until i used Dm and the backup restore to restore my device with the data, so i guess somewhere along the line of my divice data is a corrupt file or soemthing??? does anyone know what may be wrong with this? i am going to try and start from scratch and only add a couple things with the restore file that i really need.

anyone have anything else i should try? im going to sync my contacts and calendar from google sync and try and restore my BBM contacts from my email address/SD card so i may not even do a restore.

Can't say there is anything standing out to suggest upgrading to .421

If anything, the 11 pages tells me .405 is the best OS out there?

    Any disagreements?

    .415 and .421 are better than .405

I cant really tell the difference between .415 and .421

so I don't see any actual differences with .421 yet, havent downloaded the newest BBM yet though, but so far its the same, seems as stable at .415 but the best thing about .421 so far is i went from a 5-6minute boot time to the last 2 boot times ive had are 1:29 and 1:32, AMAZING!!!!

So i noticed that i only had BBM 5.0.0 loaded on after i installed this new OS, so i just OTA BBM 5.0.0.54 and not my boot up time has sky rocketed to.....yeah been 4 minutes and its still stuck at about 2/3 of the way.....deleting and going to .33 once it boots up

I am sticking with .405 with BBM .54 ...everything seems to be stable this way.
Besides I am reading a lot of issues with this beta..
I am sure two or three days from now there will be
    Another leak .

I disagree. Although, it does seem like some people are having better luck with .405 and pre .344 OS's.

I wonder why everybody seems having problem with this built. I'm perfectly happy with this one, even though there's nothing in difference with .415 IMO

Why? If you're having problems or want some new features of the new OS, upgrade. If you're not having problems or don't run into any issues, why bother? Simple as that.

Going back to T-Mo's stock OS tomorrow. I don't like how the option to combine SMS/Email isn't there in this build, and I'm actually missing some main apps (tasks, memo, etc) that aren't in my applications folder or in the main folder. In any case, I'm just not thrilled about this build, so going back.

What? Combined SMS/E-mail box is in .421. You should be able to get all your apps back by loading up DM and checking the check boxes next to the ones you want.
