I wiped my BB completely, deleted vendor.xml and then did the install. When it goes to the "wait for device initialization" part and my BB shows the new 5.0 loading screen and loads about 2/3 of the bar it directs to the "Reload software:507" error. Loader.exe keeps trying to reconnect to JVM..someone please help! How can I install this new 5.0 OS? I've never had a problem upgrading to new OSes but this one has been a headache!
hate to scare you but this exact same thing happened to my storm and this bricked my storm. I had bell reps try to fix it and I even had a member on here(experienced member) try to fix it and everything he did, nothing would work, so if you have warranty, id suggest just getting a new one like I did.
