at least every other day I have to remove the battery from my curve. after doing so and i go into BB messenger it states that I have a new unit and wants to either delete my contacts or send pin update. I always select to send pin update, however some other blackberrys don't receive the pin update. So my questions are
1) how do i not receive that message and
2) if i can't get rid of the message.. how do the other units receive my pin updates?
i don't have an answer for you but it sounds like something is wrong. I never have to send PIN updates with a battery pull...only when I actually got a new device. Hopefully someone will come along with a better answer for you
This is a new one. Almosts sounds like there might be PIN mismatch on the RIM relay that runs in the backgound of VZW network. You may want to call VZW and have this checked. This also might be resolved by doing a register now to up date systems.
