I have the TMO 9700 on TMo and I just downloaded this OS and yea, the myfaves is nice to see back on, but my 3g seems to not show up. After I ran my back up files back on to the phone, it just showed the 3g without the bb flag next to it, so I had no internet connection. Did a reboot, and now I just have capitalized EDGE. Resent service books, and another reboot and still nothing. Any suggestions? And this OS seems kinda sluggish..i was running the official rogers .351 i think before. IDK, I love all these leaks, but I think I might just stick with the official releases until TMO releases their official. I work for TMO and the tech rep said they will soon release the new OS, they just didnt tell me when anyone else having this issue? I mean i'm at school, but i could have sworn that my school was in a 3g area...i'll just have to check when i get back to my house.

It really shouldn't matter to be honest. Official releases are the same as Betas, just with checkmark from a carrier. If AT&T or Tmobile releases .415, it will be EXACTLY the same as what was leaked here.

I would try a wipe with BBSAK or JL_CMD, then reload and see if your 3G comes back. You can also force 3G only via Mobile Network under Options.

Sometimes (and I'm there this is more snake oil than truth) OSs don't always go down so clean. Wipe, reload and try again

whenever i delete the vendor.xml i cant get it to load. If i just leave the file there it loads just fine

I have 2 BBM's in the list. One is set to remove, and the other is to update.

Yes two different BBM's show up. You need to check the box of the first one, and uncheck the second one down where your 3rd party apps are. This is for every upgrade.

You can't change the number of picture thumbnails. It is set to 4 and the option to change that is gone.

- Nimbuzz doesn't work
- VodaFone Update doesn't run
- Opera Mini 4.2 doesn't work...


down grading to .405 as we speak...

i can deal with some apps not working by not my top three.

i actually did forget to delete the vendor file...so maybe thats why i'm having issues..i alwasy due a clean wipe when putting on a new OS. Another issue i'm having with this build is that all of my messages go to my MESSAGES inbox..i have three seperate email accounts, and they all goto my messages folder. I even unchecked them in the options....is this a known issue?

I did notice on this build that the app screens are white. Kind of bad but I'll live.

Figured out the white app screen issue. I just reset my theme defaults and it cleared up the issue.

Media player issue? Does it stop when receiving SMS, MMS, any message at all? Read all 11 pages and no mention thus far. Put it through its paces please!

I actually prefer that it doesn't stop. I hated that it interrupted my song. It should just be a silent notification (LED flashing)

This build seems to have resolved the issues from previous builds. Battery life will be determined tomorrow after extensive use today/tonight. But all the tiny bugs I may have had on .405 or .330 seem to have been addressed and resolved. SMS issue is gone, Inbox settings are back, all my apps work. I'm pleased with this build.
