Is there any way to run Black Berry Maps on an ATT branded phone with out unlocking it? I know they do this to try to get you to use there map services that you have to pay more for, but i would rather use BB Maps. I do use google maps and even on my 9000 feel like it runs a bit slow at times.

    just wondering,

Try that, I'm pretty sure it works for the Bold 9000 as well.

I'd suggest just getting google maps, but that's only because it's my preferred mobile map app.

I found out from the other thread about getting BB Maps on the 9700 that you can view BB Maps if you have QuickLaunch. I added BB Maps on my QuickLaunch. It works, but it is nothing special. Google Maps is better.
