I read the other posts in an earlier topic this week "Does BIS work for work email"
But now I am totally lost !!!!!!!!
I have verizon and use BIS. I want to be able to:
1. see my email
2. read the email
3. know which ones are read
4. delete them
ON BOTH THE PHONE & SERVER.
I can switch email servers, but am so confused.
Right now my internet provider provides me with a POP3 account and I use Outlook to view the email. I have to leave a copy of the messages on the server for the BB to keep them on my BB.
Why cant the Blackberry figure out to delete the mail from the server & the BB ????
Currently all I can do is download a copy of the emails on the BB and then have to delete them off BB & Server & Outlook all independently.
Plus there is no sent email showing up on my server or outlook.
The BB can do this. Just go to Messages >Options >Email Reconciliation. Where it says "Delete On" set it to "prompt" or "Mailbox and Handheld." Reads are not reconciled for me, though. Your results may vary.
Sent mail doesn't reconcile. You won't see it on your outlook or server.
