I am trying to enable the motion detection email alerts on my linksys network camera, but apparently because gmail and yahoo use (SSL) which the network camera doesnt support, they cannot be used as email recipient addresses, so im wondering if my @vzw.blackberry.net will work? Does anyone know if their is an SMTP address and port number for out BIS emails and if so what are they. Most people who have the email alerts setup use their ISP email account but I do not have one as my father pays the comcast bill and I never asked him to give me an email account, any help is appreciated

Do you have always connected internet connection? If so, why not setup your own smtp server? there are tons of free smtp server around.

PostCast, FreeSMTPServer, googling it with "Free SMTP Server" keyword, it should be on the first page Hope this help.
