Has anyone else noticed that there is absolutely no memory leak either? My phone has held around the same file free since 8 this morning. Now I just need to get the mms problem fixed. I might reinstall later today and see if it fixes it...
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
Been running since last night. Very smooth. Haven't had any lag yet.. SMS is much easier to send, instead of having to wait for it to get to the next line. Gonna do a through test on browser experience. Really loving it, thanks a bunch Birdman!
Ok, so the MMS problem isnt that you cant send/receive them, its when you get them you cant see the picture. Ive gotten two MMS from two diff people and I cant see the attached picture on either
I can't seem to get my LED to work. It works for notification but to have just flash green that its on, wont work. I have turned it off and turned it on and still nothing. Oh and i wonder if anybody noticed that when you reboot, if you have a wallpaper after the reboot it goes back to the default vendor?
Forget the first half of what I wrote. I have had to do to much resetting when I installed the other hybrids, so I forgot where to find the LED setting. The rest of what I wrote still stands tho. And loving the v6!!
and same ive experienced exactly the same probs as many users running v6
mms do work (they at least send) but u cant see pictures being sent so guess it doesnt work
the mb/gb glitch is there ive noticed
media player glitch still there..stll have to press play/pause after selecting new song
But other than that my phone seems snappier and clock put in to LCD digital now dispolays correctly and doest get cutt off..also rolling throught pics is way faster now and ya jus those 3 glitches and it would be perfect!!
help us out birdman!!
When I put my clock into LCD digital it is still cutoff on the right side.
Now I understand why they are not releasing an official OS 5.0 for the 8330. But I am going to try V6 version for the heck of it. Like I said I doubt we will ever see a official OS 5.0 for the 8330 I really do not believe it can handle it.
Just tried to download bbmaps and it says that my device is currently unsupported? It worked fine, or at least as fine as bbmaps on 5.0 can work , on v5? Also, does anyone else's screen seem dim? I checked my options and it's on 100%, but it just seems dull.
I installed exactly like Birdman instructed in post #1.
My experience so far with Birdman's 5.0 8330 hybrids (v6):
• Don’t know what - updated precision theme – is about
• Media player works perfectly
• I still have Docs2go
• Facebook is installed and running fine
• Under Options>Memory>
Application Memory
Free Space = 26.3MB
Media Card
Total space = 7.3GB
Free Space = 951.7MB
• Received MMS and picture is viewable
• BB Maps works
• Phone does seem snappier in all aspects, but clock put in to LCD digital is still cut off on right side
• Alt+Control+H displays
Platform: 3.5.0.30
App Version: 5.0.0.230 (355)
