I ordered two Storms one for my Granddaughter and one for me. On hers I got the $29.99 data plan connected with out Family Talk Plan we already had. It works great no problems. Now my phone hasn't come in and I ordered the $44.99 Unlimited Plan because the CSR told me that the first is only good for Mobile Web, limited Email and the unlimited covers just that, anything I want on the Internet. I don't know...

I have read about BIS for personal email, web browsing, IM, etc. and the BES ($44.99) is for a Company Server. I don't have a company server and will be using whatever VZW offers. So what is the straight story? from what I have read I think both Storms should be on the same $29.99 plan (one plan for one phone). If mine comes in and I activate on the $44.99 plan am I going to have problems with connecting to my Personal Email.

You will only need BIS. BES as you stated is for corporate exchange servers. That is why CRS said limited email. Can't do corporate email with BIS.

Oh and no you won't have problems with personal email. You probably dont need the 44.99 plan. switch to the 29.99 and save some money.

Yuppers, I think that CSR's only try to get you to get more than what you really needed.

Of note, you can log on to vzw.com and switch to the $29.99 plan yourself.
