Okay, so a few other people stated they have issues getting a GPS lock in GoogleMaps, glad I'm not the only one. I'll try what Justam wrote.

Gps works fine, i've always had this issue with official and hybrid builds for both the 8130 and the 9700. I always have to mess around with it in the engineering screen for it work.

I used Asian .723 SFI on my 9700. While it works fine, it boots much slower than it did before when I was running previous versions of BL. Not sure if the SFI is the problem, but the battery seems to be draining a lot faster than it did before.

From the look of this thread, it seems like .706 is a no go for Rogers. I guess I'll have to find .668. But thanks for a great build as always!

Did anyone have problems with their phone not being able to locate the sound files for different notifications? $y style sometimes does a 3 tone sound and I have to reset it. Also the snooze doesn't work for the alarm anymore. It goes off only one time.

Would you be able to update your OTA Theme Links? They have expired.

    Thanks

I enable my satellite tracking in my Engineering Screen whenever I need GPS....works wonders and is always accurate. I find it locks much faster and maintains its lock until I disable it again. I have noticed sometimes it takes an unusually long time to lock when I don't enable my satellite tracking...although trying it right now it locked immediately without enabling the tracking on my engineering screens....
    tks u so much
i've done like u n i've not seen any problems with my GM
@jdesignz: i'll be waiting for your BL7, n i hope BL7 has Language packages n supports the asia language! i'm from Vietnam (sr all about my english)

i am using the .706 base, not sure which sfi came with the build. if it was the .706 for the 9700 then i can confirm it works fine for me and im on rogers.

Hey. when i first installed this hybrid i left out the documents to go, thinking i wouldn't need it. They hybrid has finally settled in and I do not want to go through the entire process again. So i was wondering if you had the offline files or the OTA link for documents 2 go?

Simply go through the same process with app loader and then select the documents to go. When u click next it will list the changes which are going to be made, if u only click documents to go it will show u that app loader is going to install doc to go. Simple and done.

    All,

Performed this upgrade with no issues. However, I've noticed that I no longer have voice dialing. I've checked AppLoader and do not see any mention of installing that. Any idea how to get this back on my phone?

    Thanks In Advance!

Yes, this hybrid or the stock version of OS6 will work on your 9700. Go to the first page of this thread, follow the instructions carefully, and you are good to go. If you are totally new to BlackBerrys, I suggest you read the BlackBerry 101 series to get your feet wet in the BB world.

I installed this on my 9700 last week and it's been working flawlessly. My phone seems more stable now; it runs faster with only minimal memory leak. I noticed, however, that I lost Password Keeper......no biggie though.

I should've installed this sooner. I am much happier with a hybrid.

Hi, today I installed BL VI to my 9780 and as everything seems to work well - I lost all ringtones, the folder is empty.
    Is it normal?
How can I get ringtones back?
    Thanks

I lost my ringtones too when I installed the hybrid but it wasn't really a problem for me. I just downloaded them again. I also chose to install only a couple of the tones. Freed up a lot of memory.
