It happens when you deleted the stock theme. Try not to delete the stock theme and backgrounds.

I'm not deleting any themes, and when I injected one via bbsak it wouldn't let me activate it in the theme section, only the default one would show up. But it's all good, I took the .723 browser cods and added them with the default .706 and BerryLicious VI cods.

It is a bit snappier, but I am going to remove the modules as the "this page is too big blah blah" error is popping up frequently.

I just installed it over 666 radio files. First I rename it into BL6-9780. And the result was great. I think greater than the default (706) that BL6 use.

been trying to install for almost an hour, i cannot install the OS. tried using different SFIs, but to no avail i'll give it another try
Have you rename the .sfi into right name? Example: BL6-9800.sfi?

    worth a shot.

have you tried anything else? sfi files? not sure what to look for in regards to a good sfi though.

@RaptorxD hopefully we will, but zocsters kinda busy maybe a week after new years :P
@LOY80Y no I haven't tried the .723 SFI as I got sick of the constant re-loading LOL. And to see if you've found a good SFI you'd see if the device is snappier, has better connection, latches onto 3G more and increased battery life.

Oic. So the sfi relates to connection overall? Wouldn't there be more files that would make the device faster/snappier?

@LOY80Y the .cod(s) help with the speed as well, consider the SFI file as nothing more than a regular kernal.

Oh ok. Guess it's alot of playing around with different versions of cod and sfi files then. Something that you have done more than me.

There's Probably some guide on crackberry forums on how to get started with making a hybrid ay?

    5. Device can still be used up to less 2% battery remaining.

This hybrid has been shrunk, you can shrink further at your own risk.

    Installation instructions:

    1. Download & Install Base OS6 for 9300/97xx/9800 (official/leaked)
    example:
    32bit
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9800Asia_v6.0.0.706_P6.6.0.246

    64bit

    2. Delete "VENDOR.XML" in folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader\
    3. Wipe the entire base OS located in, for example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9800Asia_v6.0.0.706_P6.6.0.246 (note, only delete what's INSIDE the folder)
    4. Download and install Berrylicious Hybrid installer into the base OS folder, for example C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9800Asia_v6.0.0.706_P6.6.0.246
    5. Fully backup your blackberry with Desktop Manager, with radios off.
    6. Backup your apps using VNBButil/BBMC
    7. Wipe your device with JL_CMDR / BBSAK / VNBBUtil
    8. Run C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader\loader.exe
    9. Select what you need to install carefully to optimise free memory. If you want to use Universal/Global Search, be sure to tick SEARCH FEATURE in apploader list
    10. With radios off, Fully restore your backed up data, then do another battery pull. Before you turn your wireless back on, click on the Blackberry Messenger and confirm that all your contacts and groups are there.
    11. Enjoy your hybrid, give it a minimum of 4 hours before you do another battery pull.
    12. For best result, do 3 battery pulls a day, 6 hours a part for the first 48 hours.

I can't find them, but it's alright, I uploaded a .jad and .alx for both vvm and the vad, both from OS 6.0.0.706 (for the 2 guys that asked for it).
aah - i'm using the version that came with BB VI... so it's saying incompatible version :/

    EDIT:
strange - i just double checked & i used 706... yet the VAD isn't working...

For 9700 we use 668 sfi, as its smaller, grab it from the base.

Are you sure? I extracted it straight from my phone, try and force inject the cods with BBSAK or something similar.

Theres something I don't get, why do people with os7 devices want to install hybrids that contain os6 modules? I would think the best thing to do would be to stick with hybrids that only contain os7&7.1 modules.
