Thanks to my bro iking and my big family over at bzone. We have now come to the next installment of the berrylicous series, V2.

This hybrid uses 6.0.0576 SFI, with the majority of 600 cods, with some of the 6.1.xx and 7.xx cods also, including the latest leaked 7.0.0.176 leak for the 9900.

The points of difference in this hybrid are:

    1. Less memory and battery drain, speedy boot up time, and speedy browser.
    2. Blackberry messenger hybrid by ВЯő iking
    3. GPS, bluetooth, 3G and wifi locks faster than standard or leaked OS.
    4. Responsiveness.

Apps that come standard with this hybrid are (you can tick what you want)
    1. Our own BlackBerry Messenger 6.0.0.105
    2. AppWorld 2.1.2.19
    3. BlackBerry Bridge 1.0.0.83
    4. BlackBerry Protect 1.0.10.25
    5. Facebook 1.9.0.28
    6. Social Feeds 1.0.0.58
    7. Maps 6.0.0.31
    8. Podcasts 1.0.0.51
    9. Google Talk 2.5.85
    10. MSN 2.5.85
    11. Yahoo Messenger 2.5.85
    12. Youtube 1.0.0.37
    13. DocumentsToGo v2.0005.105 key code required for full version
    14. PDFToGo v2.0005.105 key code required for full version
    15. CaptureIt 1.4
    16. UberSocial 1.2
    17. Ringtones OS7

This hybrid has been shrunk, you can shrink further at your own risk.

    Installation instructions:

    1. Download & Install Base Os6 for 9700/9800 (official/leaked)
    example: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200\
    2. Delete "VENDOR.XML" in folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader\
    3. Wipe the entire base OS located in, for example: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200\ ...(note, only delete what's INSIDE the folder)
    4. Download and install berrylicious 9700/9800.exe into the base OS folder, for example C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200\
    5. Backup your blackberry with desktop manager.
    6. Backup your apps using VNBButil/BBMC
    7. Wipe your device with JL_CMDR / BBSAK / VNBBUtil
    8. Run C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader\loader.exe
    9. Select what you need to install carefully to optimise free memory.
    10. With radios off, restore your apps, and then do a battery pull.
    11. Restore your backed up data, then do another battery pull.
    12. Enjoy your hybrid, give it a minimum of 4 hours before you do another battery pull.
    13. For best result, do 3 battery pulls a day, 6 hours a part for the first 48 hours.

    Download for 9700

    and for your 9800.

    System reads to follow ASAP.

    Mirrors

    Multiupload 9700

    Multiupload 9800

Feedback are welcomed, we have included VVM in this build to tick. Languages we still yet to include, I will come up with some
ALX files if you wish to include other languages by the weekend.

    Dutch language support here

    Spanish language support here

Download the file, extract to your SD card, run the JAD file, and you should be done.

Thanks to zocster and to all who have given early feedback. I will install it soon and also give my feedback... It's good to have active hybrid builders for the 9700 again!

I think you can try it at your own risk since there is an official 6.0.0.576released from Orange Poland for 9780, load the official .576 and copy paste the whole hybrid folder into it, then you can shrink and load it....

Sama2..Bro, yes you are absolutely right at his own risk, Satanberry can also try the harder way, take the changed cods only (just watch out with BBM,IM cods.) and copy paste into the official .576 folder. two thumbs up for you guys form RT 5 and thanks for your hard work...

If the 9780 were my own phone, I would definitely try it. But, alas, it's the wife's. Totally not worth the headache if something goes sideways.

Search was a tickable option to install, otherwise inject the two cods that were in the features/search folders

Bluetooth works great with Parrot car kits and music streaming also. UMA also seems improved over the past OS installs.

Another great job, well done z0cster.

Just take out the alx if you are going to download it. Or replace the cods in the features/ fb folder
