I'm currently running rc7b2 after my phone didnt gel well with rc8, conflicting base + mix. So i went with .714base + same large sfi as i seem to get very good results with that. .746 nearly scorched my phone.
Only program that is draining my battery is lexulous lite which I really like now that i discovered it. I had 99% from 8am and now at around 2pm I have 64%. I was sitting at around 80% by 12pm so lexulous is really draining my battery but i'm managing it. temps are cool too. Gonna revert to rc7b1 as that seems the best for me unless BL return 2 comes soon and happens to work with .714 OS. then i'll try that.

PS: on 2nd thought, I'll actually I'll keep this current mix till next week, just to have it settled, i havent done any battery pulls as i have been too busy.

Yeah! .746 does return some warm temperatures.. Hhmm as I remember RC7B1 was quite a good mix..

I'm gonna probably try a different hybrid for a little while (the new myth hybrid perhaps :-p )

But I think the .746 small sfi is not the best..

Ps. PM me your pin dude..so we can exchange results on BBM :-p

Would suggest you try the RC8 with .714sfi, it runs insanely cool on my device (9900 ) and is giving some unbelievable ADr.

    RC8 build by Sator

Returns V1 built by I King

I'm sure that they will have slightly diferent approaches as to how to get the best out of what is available.

    Thanks for that Legal,

Indeed we have a number of Hybrid creator that work with us and currently Sator has
been working on the BL Ultimate mixes and the AT&T specials and Iking has
now Returned to help us out with OS 7 as well.

Iking and Zoc have been creating BL Hybrids for a number of years together and
primarily when OS6 was the main version.

We hope you enjoy whichever one you choose and let us know if you have any issue.

I've got 7.1.0.746 (large sfi) installed in anticipation of BL Returns v2. Any idea when it will be ready for prime time? I'm hoping relatively soon so I can get it installed before my next trip. (I have a self-imposed blackout period for OS installations before I go on a trip.)

If you get close to your deadline and V2 is not out give RC8A1 a try instead, looking like a really solid build 2 days in.

If I get much closer, I won't be trying anything. Can't take a chance of not having my phone working properly in case something goes sideways, such as the enterprise activation. It will probably not be until the second week of December before I make any changes, in which case hopefully BL Returns v2 will have been out in the wild for a while.

Just as a footnote for torch users, one will run rc8 with 714 sfi BUT use 746 base. I tried 714 base and phone wouldnt start.

Yes, you would need base .746 but could use .714sfi.

I feel RC8a is a must for 9900, it is simply too good to miss.
You would need to use .746 as base and .714 fat sfi ( voda preferably) to get Great results !

    Hello,

I see many posts dealing with changing/swapping of sfi files. May I ask if that's only applicable to OS7 devices? I have a 9780 and installed BLR 6.0

    Thanks in advance!

Yes I understand, but I did not change the sfi file yet and all is running well.. So my question would be if I really need to swap it, since all posts I read on this matter were about OS7 devices.

Version 3 for OS 6 on 9300 exhibits higher ADR compared to the previous one. There is also a noticeable graphics lag initially after reboot when moving the selector from the status bar. Reverted to version 2 for that matter. Is it just me as an isolated case or others have experienced the same?
