I think it is not yet settled and usually it is close or a bit above 30-ish. For me who lived in tropical (Jakarta-indonesia) and currently not in an air conditioned space, this temperature considered quite cool
Am using the large .714 and I've tried if I put my blackberry in my room (with A/C) the temp can go down below 20C.

It's freezing here in the UK so I am sitting in front of my PC with the Central Heating full on and still getting 18c.

Not a lot of need for A/C in Yorkshire !!!

Thank for the replies. I , in my haste, must have missed where I should have chosen another folder where I could deposit the cod files. I used default storage and that is where I messed up. Now, back to installing the one I have been waiting for.

Again, thank you for all your hard work BL team (I still don't like the new install method but guess I will have to live with it lol).

    To the BL Team :

Brilliant & very professional file executor that extracts just like RIM's OS and then guides you thru for a hassle-free install.

Installed perfectly BUT for some odd reason using DM, the full restore just didn't happen as it should have. Hence, had to re-do RESTORE again but seems am losing the BBM Groups so that's THaT.

Cpl of battery pulls follow and lets see how things shape up in 6-12 Hrs time. Sitting on 3G network signal from voda India. All's well so far.

Once again, superb installer from BL.

P.S. I installed .746 Large base with with .714 Large sufi and BL Rtns v. 1.0.0
    l

That time of installer is very common among them indonesian hybriders. You guys have to get to use to it from now on, hehe.

Also that type of installer was the same as the original OS 6 hybrids that Zoc and Iking used to create.

We are still providing you with service for nothing. Please accept the new package and enjoy the product.

All of the original BL hybrids were done using an installer when iking was involved, just recently we have been tied up with other things.

    Glad you all like it.

Very odd issue with the install but as we don't recommend Desktop Manager installs anyway I can't really comment.

    I have attached the edited 746 platform.alx

Not required if you're running 746 on 9900 which I gave ian is the one for 714.

    Won't work on 9810, 9860 etc on 714.

Did you use .649 base, and added the extra line on your platform.alx?

Was this a fresh install of 649?

as a total noob , I finally took the plunge and installed this hybrid version , following instructions on the first post and http://forums.crackberry.com/hybrid-...hybrid-750854/

I am coming from .546 or something like that , which was not done by myself to my 9900 which is currently registered with Vodafone India.

Ok , it is must snappier no doubt , bootup is fast , but it doesnt seem like it , since the progress bar suddenly jumps to complete , same thing when installing apps. Weird problem I had with the .546 was that it suddenly used to loose power and after a battery pull it comes back up, I look forward to the behaviour of this os , and will report back , in a few days about any issues or anything.

Thanks again to Zocs and the BL team and all the posters for helping noobs take the plunge

    Salut !

Did you empty your java folder prior to the extraction?

    Edit:

The java is meant to over write the content of 649.
