I clearly don't open a lot of attachments, but I noticed this the other day, and thought I was doing something wrong. I can open jpgs, not pdfs. I open DTG, and I can pull up old pdfs in DTG just fine, but a pdf attachment in an email is completely dead (cant even select download as I can a pdf).
I did a perfectly clean install of 694 and put in v4. Its like it just doesn't know what to do with a pdf attachment. to be cleam I have docs to go, an it works fine.

Same as I have found - but it is not only PDFs; it is also Word and Excel files.
I know the BL team is working a fix - this might be carrier related and as such yet another ATT issue (like the mic problem).
I am on v4 and have not had any issues with attachments, however the only kind I ever get are jpgs so I don't know if pdfs work. Are there any other reasons for upgrading to 4a? Is it faster or better than v4?
It is currently in development. Our next scheduled release is the 7.1.0.746 based BL Returns on the other thread
so any update to the ATT mix is at least a week or more away.
If I re-installed a fresh version of the latest ATT OS 7.1.694; do all I do is copy the Java files into the proper folder or is there additional files to copy as well?
I don't know if this had been posted before... But even I am planning to get the hybrid...
Now my questions are:
1. Can I go back to the OS I was on?
2. Is there an image for airtel (service provider) in India?
3. What is the advantage of having this OS?
At this stage this hybrid only works with 694 sfi, which I believe is only available for 9360, 9900 and 9810.
I do not believe its there for 9860. I could be wrong though.
Oops Edit:
694 for 9860 is available through AT&T, so if you had a good experience with the stock 694 radio then go right ahead.
And you can go back to the stock OS if you find this is not suitable, just by uinstalling and reinstalling the official OS on your PC.
