We haven't made any OS10 hybrid, BB10 users right now can swap the radio files and side load newer apps by themself (BB10 users can use Sachesi, Darcy's tool and PAM to make their own hybrid) since it's very easy. We're planning to do one step further (rewrites the manifest), but it's still a long way to go....

    Was using RC19 with 1033 OS + 1047 Sfi (small size 67xxxKB) ...

And was having connectivity issues along with medium-to-poor battery life

Wiped 9900 with triple wipe, loaded RC19 with 1033 OS + 912 Sfi (asian ver 72xxx KB size)

And now things are much better ...

I installed RC19 with base 1047 + 1047 SFI (AllLang from Bell) on 9360s and 9900, and the results are pretty good.

    Hello folks,
I am trying to install RC19 on my Bold9900 but it's been 2 days and I haven't be able to do it myself. This is my first hybrid install.

My phone is from Carphone Warehouse UK (Vendor ID = 301) and I am located in Italy.

    1) I downloaded the latest OS for Carphone Warehouse UK from BB's official website and installed it to my PC (App version 7.1.0.714(2061))
    2) I downloaded vendelete.exe to be sure to remove any vendor.xml file from my computer
    3) I downloaded the RC19 Java package and overwrote the Loader files located under
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9900M_v7.1.0.342_P5.1.0.276\
    4) I run BBSAK to wipe my device, then I used it to install the OS
    5) Everything went smoothly, however I get a white screen with App Error 200 - Reset on my device.

Previously I tried other Device Software versions because I didn't know my original vendor, and they didn't install from BBSAK (it said the software was not compatible with my device), so I am pretty sure that if I was able to install the OS with BBSAK, then there is no reason why I am getting App Error 200. I did not install Dakota this time, but I am still getting this error.

The only thing I am able to do is opening DM and installing the official OS using the Update/Repair procedure (it is automatically prompted when I connect my BB). What am I doing wrong? Berrylicious RC19 is really the last chance I am giving to my Bold 9900, since it is like having no smartphone, just an advanced portable typing machine.

RC19 is not compatible with OS 7.1.0.714, since OS .714 is an old OS. please download the latest OS for Bold 9900 (OS 7.1.0.1047 AllLang from Bell Mobility and it can be use for all carriers as long as you delete the vendors xml.), here is the link: https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/D...BDCD04D49211D3

Thank you for your help. This time I used the OS you linked and, although the OS installation goes fine, I am getting a white screen with a list of apps in background and an Uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.i18n.MissingResourceException.
I did it over (wipe + OS installation) and I got a Owner died thread Exception.

Any idea on how to get past these? Please note that I am keeping my BB conencted with my PC through the USB cable all the way.

Did you paste the RC19 files into the Base OS Java ?

If you deleted the base OS Java and simply replaced it with the RC19 files then you will get errors as the RC19 is not a full OS.

I dragged and dropped the RC19 content in the OS folder, Windows asked if I wanted to replace some files and merge the Java folder and clicked "Yes".

uninstall all your OS's on your PC, run CCleaner (cleaner and registry) :Download CCleaner 4.06.4324 - FileHippo.com , re install OS 7.1.0.1047 on your PC, run vendelete, copy and paste RC19 (shrink it if you want to), wipe your device, and use app. loader to install the OS (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
