I'm a noob myself XD I just spend alot of time reading the guides and threads.
I'm not really sure but ima jump at it and say yes.. when i was using the .794 i had memory leaks up to 30mbs while on the .825 i never have them, the max i reached is 6mbs then settled back to 1 and below.
In addition to that, some comments mentioned connections between both, or atleast different OS's causing memory leaks.

So if anyone is looking for the new RC11 Beta 1 mix it is now on the first post.

As for SFI vs Memory leaks, the link is more likely to be in the java
that you are leaking and we always try and use the best files in order to stop any leaking.

I've been using 11B for roughly 3 days now. My usage is probably a lot more extreme during the work week. If I use it at a moderate level, I find that it still does the darn job!

At the end of the day it is all on usage and HOW you use your device. There will be a lot of #'s being thrown out, but I think it is around 3.5% on medium usage. Heavy it is at close to 8. When bridged it is obviously higher lol

I always use what the chefs use or the latest OS (leaked or official) as my base....I'll change sfi if I feel the one I am currently running isn't cutting it.

I imagine you can use the base you're using for RC10, unless someone else can chime in on that.

Running very well 24 hours in, but the .825 .sfi runs way to hot for my liking.

Will RC11 run OK with .714 .sfi ???

Ria, I use BBSAK to wipe and it works fine for me.
I am using RC11B with .714 SFI, .825 Base, temps below 20c and all running great!

A day with the new RC11B, .825 sfi, everything went well. But still in the sluggish mood. Will batt pulls once in a while, approx 4 - 6 hours gap. What i can see is, with my poor 3G coverage with this service provider of mine, when im on .825, the 3G signal is better! *Comparing to large .714. Looks like the new fav sfi of mine, will be the new .825!

It takes around 48 hours to settle, yes .825 sfi is better in overall performance compares to .714 sfi.

How are the last couple of brews on .786 or .794?
The 9790s haven't broken into the 800s yet.

    Thank you, sir!

Do you feel .714 is still the best? I've been hearing that a lot.

EDIT: sorry, I just saw that the highest update possible is recommended for RC11.

    Your welcome...
.714 sfi is very good, it's the coolest sfi beside .523 sfi, and now it's about time to use .825 sfi, it's very responsive, good in adr, and the temp. is not bad.

    Use base .794 + 794 sfi for the RC11

quick question , the new ultimate release is being called "RC 11 Beta 1", from my own limited understanding of software - a "beta" is something that is still being tested and is not meant for final release , does this hold true for the ultimate series too ? hope you all get what i mean ? thanx

As far as I have seen, the "betas" for ultimate series are called "alphas". So feel free to try any beta because beta as far as they {Ultimate release makers} are concerned is as finished or finalized a mix as you'll get

    Have you deleted both Vendor.xml file(s) ???

I had the same issue when I installed .825 and found that there was a second xml file with this build in the Users/app data etc location that Vendelete did not detect.

Had to go old school and find it myself and delete.

    DM detected fine after that.
