pls can some 1 help me,me and somebody have bold 9900, his own is at&t and my own is o2,i always find out that his own is showing 4G on the network bar,and my own never show 4G it only show 3G,so i dont know which os can support 4g in my bb too,we use the same network

Maybe your carrier shows different symbols....there is NOTHING about BL that should have u start to worry unnecessarily

QNAL cod is for 9620 and rimgan injector cod is for 9900, 9320, 9360 etc. We have to include those cods since this hybrid is for multi devices.

Hahahaha...BlackBerries are wellknown for their highly security protection, people have to modify the Blackberry alx. File or Platform alx. File in order to install any cod beside the standard OS's cods. So you're safe as long as you copy paste the Java only. You can check your BB through your app. Management (for apps. Installed) or you can go to app. Management> click  >modules, and you can see all the cods installed on your device.

FYI: some of our hybrid users are also very expert in blackberry, so you don't need to worry about the mallware.

Not sure why you 2 phones show different but some networks are falsely putting 4G as their label for 3G+

Unless you handset supports LTE, which none of the current BB's do, they are not fully 4G.

BB10 camt come soon enough.

Yes that is correct! Some carriers will show 4G whereas others show H+ its a carrier thing!

I noticed that when using BL ULTIMATE RC10 Alpha 1 on my BlackBerry Curve 9320 i cannot turn up the volume to the max (when using headphones), it only lets me go as far as 3/4 of the way

I have one problem since started to use X-mas edition. Sometime after unlocking device on lower side of displays shows flickering inverted colors bar like 1/10 from the screen which disappear after a while or after reboot. Phone is Bold 9900 tried different bases and sfi-s result is the same ... Any idea what may the problem be ?

We don't have flickering screen issue, I think it's related to your device hardware (LCD), try to install the 9900 stock OS, if the problem persist then have it check at the blackberry service center.

Try to re install base .794 and the X mas edtion, maybe you have a bad install.

You can try BL Xmas Edition and use base .746, copy and paste the java folder and the blackerry alx. file (you have to modify the blackberry alx., open up with note pad and change "Dakota" to "Davis")

It's all up to you czeds, you can use JAllang .714 sfi (large) or .746 sfi

hi Sator, it is more than 15 days with Xmas Edition. We have so habitual of installing new OS/hybrid in last 1-2 years and particularly, BL hybrids, almost every week, we have been installing OS. This hybrid is the longest duration so far, I have used. It seems, every one is very busy in BB10 that no leaks or no hybrid? it's boring using same OS for so long. Will there be no leaks or new OS or no hybrids till BB10 launched?

Currently standing at 4 days and 2 hours up time and memory has dropped by 35mb. Yesterday, at 3 days, memory loss was at 17mb, then a big drop over 24 hours... no unusual activity. Did the same 4 days ago, did a soft reboot. I believe this to be normal, as memory does leak over a period of time.

I get minimal memory loss with Xmas Special but having said that I have virtually no apps installed, just AOS and MeterBerry.

Maybe lose 0.2mb over the working day but it seems to get recovered so pretty much sits at a constant level for me.

I have 2 batteries so tend to swich them over every 3 or 4 days so I do get a reboot each time.

All in all this is a very very good OS which is just as well as it looks like we will have to use it for a while until a new OS drops for Sator to play with and with all the BB10 goings on that may not be any time soon.

I have no real interest in BB10 and plan on keeping my 9900 for the forseeable future. Due an upgrade in August but will try to get a new 9900 rather than anything BB10.
