If the 7.1.0.580 OS i your base of choice then install that and overwrite the Java directory using the RC5 Beta 2 files from the download.

    This should work without issue.

As for what to shrink it is hard to put that into a tutorial as a lot of it is down to personal choice and common sense.

When I am shrinking i leave any apps which I normally use, remove any languages I dont need and fonts but leave the latin, times and courier fonts. In fact see screenshot picture.

Except you need a magnifying glass with my screenshot Thanks Sharma for helping also
Much much Thanks for the answers..
Now i'll try the RC5B2 for the 9350..

    Rc5b2 is simply awesome
8% adr, that's a good sign, and amazing signal

Got an error message though "simcard not allowed" instead of the carrier name on the homescreen

A batt pull fixed it.. Just wondering what it was

Since shrinking the advanced things, I haven't noticed anything negative, hope that answers your question(s).

I loaded full BL RC5B2 only and shrunk the p!ss out of it, as you can see lol

Small things like that can happen and a battery pull usually sorts it as you have found.

It could be that the Sim card module hadnt loaded correctly 1st time around.

I have to admit it is normally my Ribbon cod that does that and again a battery pull sorts it.

Yeah! In rc4, my volume button used to stop working, and a battery pull would fix it

And is it only me or you'll too feel that the browser is a bit slow compared to rc5b?

    I am using 9320/7.1.0.569.

    Can I load rc5b2?

Do I need to change my sfi?

So all I need do is copy the java over my installed java and then shrink before loading right?
    Thank you

The download speeds are very fast, just that loading a page takes too much time and sometimes a couple of re-tries

24hrs since install, 2 battery pulls today. BDR 2.71%, Highest Mem leak was 3mb.
Loads of BBM, sms, browsing, several emails, FB and Twitter. No calls. I dont make many calls. Have 100mins any number, and 3000 mins to own network per month on contract, and Im lucky if i use 10 mins!
My main use tends to be FB, Twitter, Foursquare, BBM and Tinterweb Thingy; with occasional sms

Yes, it is included in this java. As Sator pointed out it could be faster still but it would risk memory Leaks.

For the 9320 user, yes this would work no problems with with 7.1.0.569

If you have the OS already on your pc just replace the java directory with the one that you can download from my signature and that will be you sorted once you load it.

48 hours roughly for myself, battery drain said it was 3.98% as I was giving it some work, mem dropped to about -0.8MB for 3 hours of HEAVY use, that entails BBM's, emails, browsing, downloading music, loads of sms, FB, twitter and some foursquare...this thing is on beast mode

I was on 3 days, just reloaded again to try a different sfi file. Getting 1.2% ADR with the 649 sfi file on my 9900.

Just got fed up with the fact it rebooted my phone everytime i left a wireless network if I didnt turn off the wireless radio.

6 hours apart, I do it after I get my apps back, sign in or whatever battery pull, then do it again after 6 hours. Do that for about 3-5 days and it should settle in nicely
