Thanks Legal,

Please see my last post and @legal has been nice enough to help you out with the links
I reposted them this morning.
Hope you manage to get your handset up and running and enjoy the OS.
thank you :) i'll wipe device again and install :)
Trying to earn some Brownie Points to get hold of RC5 A2 !!!!
(only joking)
No probs, no point in rushing A2 as we are trying to get a comparison between the 2 on power drain.
I'd like some brownies, actually....went for a little session at lunch :p
Will be interesting to see how it works out, power management has got to be the Holy Grail IMO as speed and smoothness have been well sorted in RC5A
Not with the kind of Junior Girl Guide Brownies I hope !!!!!
eff no lol special wacky tabacky session with one of the guys
SO...guess who has the RC5A-2 link?
I do! Zocs is the man!

Love the browser :D it's made of cods from 7-8 different OSes
Well Sharma. Get it on and stop playing with those Brownies. :)

Load it, its awesome :D
Best hybrid for me till now ;)
What am I doing wrong?
Followed the instructions given and after wiping the device I run the app loader and get a message that the applications on my device are newer than the ones to be installed?
Do I select to use the older apps?
You might have forgotten to delete the vendor file(s).

Nope......
Perhaps a higher base version? I had a similar issue, just used a newer base.

Yup.. Select the older apps..
There are a few .cods in this hybrid which are from a version older than urs! That's the reason why it shows this message
You currently have a version on your phone above .523, which is the sfi file so apploader tells you in case you don't want to overwrite it. .
Just select the overwrite current apps option. It will wipe your phone and install ok.
This is one of the reasons why wiping the phone is a good idea, you then have no version on your phone to conflict.

I did a security wipe and when it finished I ran the app loader and received that message. I then ran it again and selected the older versions and it loaded.
I now show running 7.1.0.658 instead of 7.1.0.569.
Thanks again for all the help.
You do realise that a security wipe only wipes your data, a ful wipe wipes the OS files also.
Just realised you maybe didn't realise they were different.
